On-Campus Housing

Generally, JMU does not offer on-campus housing for graduate students. However, first-year grad students have the option to live within Graduate Student Housing in 735 Main.

Off-Campus Housing

The majority of graduate students at JMU live off campus. There are multiple sites and places to search for housing, but here is a condensed list of resources to find housing catered to grad students:

• JMU Graduate Student Housing Forum: Facebook group run by GSA to help graduate students find roommates and/or housing with other grad students.
• JMU Off-Campus Housing Site: JMU website that lists current off-campus apartments for rent near JMU’s campus.
• OCL Housing Directory: PDF of common off-campus rentals near JMU.
