3.2.12 Team Excellence and Collaborative Team Leader Questionnaire

Purpose

The purpose of the (TE&CTLQ) is to diagnose potential issues and guide teams towards improvement and effectiveness.

Description

Building on research on successful teams since 1987, Larson and LaFasto created tools to measure team effectiveness. Northouse (2021) took this a step further by combining these tools into a new, 13-question scale that assesses both leadership factors and team effectiveness in a single instrument.

Although the original instruments are reliable and valid (Larson and LaFasto, 2001), to our knowledge, the (TE&CTLQ) developed by Northouse (2021) has not yet been empirically tested.

Access

The utilization of the instrument may necessitate the acquisition of permissions from authors. Users of this tool are advised to consult the original articles or directly contact the authors to ascertain the instrument’s availability and any associated permission requirements. Available online through academic journals and research databases, the tool can be accessed via the respective articles mentioned in the references section.
